Our first predator catch ever. Also one of the most memorable. We weren't expecting so much strange stuff to happen.
Diego aka SopMod2
Diego, AKA SopMod2 was an employee at Dollar General in Stokesdale, NC. He messaged our decoy, posing as 14 year old Olivia.
He sent multiple pictures of his genitalia, and asked her to come meet at a Walmart in Kernersville, NC; with plans to get her food and then perform sexual acts in his car.
Crime #1 - Enticing A Minor
Under North Carolina law G.S. 14-202.3, a person can be charged with solicitation of a child by computer if he or she knowingly and intentionally uses a computer or other electronic device to coerce, entice, or order a child under the age of 16 to meet with him or her or any other person to engage in unlawful sexual activity. The person must be at least 16 years old and at least five years older than the victim to be charged with solicitation of a child by computer. Notably, a defendant can be convicted of solicitation of a child by computer even if he or she is not actually communicating with a child younger than 16 and five years younger than the defendant, if the defendant believes that he or she is communicating with a child who is under the age of 16 and at least five years younger than the defendant.
Diego allegedly commits Solicitation by asking Olivia to meet in real life at some point early in the conversation.
Then Diego goes on to discuss sexual stuff so far as cuddling and railing, among other things.

Solicitation of a child by a computer or other electronic device to commit an unlawful sex act means enticing a child over the internet (or by electronic means, such as texting) to commit a sex act, including creating child pornography. This offense can carry up to two years in prisons.
Any of these crimes are alleged. The MDF Doesn't determine guilt of the child predators. We just present the facts, as we have found them, for you to interpret for yourself.
Crime #2 - Disseminating Harmful Material
Under NC Law G.S. 14-190.15; Disseminating and exhibiting material harmful to minors involves distributing or showing inappropriate material such as pornography to a minor. Depending on the age of the minor, it can result in a prison sentence of up to one year.

By sending pictures of his genitalia, he has now disseminated harmful material
"It's not entrapment. Because the decoys never make the first move. Nor do they raise the issue of having sex. It's always the potential predator that does that.." – Chris Hansen
Diego is a disgusting child predator who admitted to wanting to have sexual relations with a child. Watch the full Episode here
